Board Meeting Minutes

May 8, 2025

 

The meeting was called to order at 5:03 pm by Vice President Ronnie Smith.

Present: Board members Ronnie Smith, Janet Weaver, Brian Forgey, Donna Pinney, Dennis Webb and Dale Moore. Polly Rannells and Donnie Sherwood were also present. Six members of the HOA were in attendance.

Absent: None

Amend/Approve Agenda: The agenda for the meeting was presented for review.

Motion: Janet Weaver moved and Dale Moore seconded to approve the agenda as submitted. All Board members voted in favor of the motion. Motion carried and the agenda was approved.

Amend/Approve Meeting Minutes: The minutes of the April 10, 2025 meeting were presented for review, Dale Moore moved to waive reading of the minutes and approve the minutes as presented, Janet Weaver seconded the motion. All board members voted in favor of the motion. Motion carried and the minutes were approved.

Installation of Officers: Two Board members were installed.  Ronnie Smith was reinstated for another term and Dennis Webb was installed as a new Board member in his first term.

Election of New Officers  Brian Forgey moved and Janet Weaver seconded to nominate Ronnie Smith for President.  All board members voted in favor of the motion. Motion carried.  Donna Pinney moved and Janet Weaver seconded to nominate Brian Forgey for Vice President.  All board members voted in favor of the motion.  Motion carried.  Donna Pinney moved and Brian Forgey seconded to nominate Janet Weaver for Treasurer.  All board members voted in favor of the motion.  Motion carried.  Brian Forgey moved and Janet Weaver seconded to nominate Donna Pinney as Secretary.  All board members voted in favor of the motion.  Motion carried.

Slate of new officers:

Ronnie Smith – Board President

Brian Forgey – Vice President

Janet Weaver – Treasurer

Donna Pinney – Secretary

 President’s Report  None

Treasurer’s Report: Janet Weaver gave the Treasure’s report as follows: As of 4/30/2025, the checking account balance was $13,401.76; the Heim Young account balance was $253,520.78, the high yield Money Market was $251,824.65.  Heim-Young had an increase of $30.60 in April.  The Money Market Account realized a gain of $1,824.65.  There were no sales in April.

Administrative Report: Polly Rannells update that the lots that were sold in the previous month have a closing date of August 31, 2025 with Hogan Title.

Old Business: No update on give back lots.

New Business: Offer was received from Sherman Cogdill in the sum of $11,000 for lots 44 an 77 of Block 52 OPV.    Brian Forgey moved and Janet Weaver seconded to accept Sherman Gogdill offer.  All board members voted in favor.   Motion carried.

Adjournment: Motion: Brian Forgey moved and Donna Pinney seconded to adjourn at 5:20 pm. All board members were in favor and the motion carried.
